The Teman is a 36-meter/118-foot long traditional Indonesian phinisi that takes 12 guests on scuba diving safaris and adventure cruises in Indonesia. There are 5 cabins on board, 3 double and 2 triple, all with ensuite bathrooms with hot showers, individually controlled air conditioning, storage space, and portholes. The large covered outdoor area is the perfect place for guests to gather to enjoy delicious home-cooked cuisine. The chef's specialties are a mix of Western and local cuisine fitting everyone’s diet and include freshly baked bread, pastries, and cakes. The sun decks offer open and covered areas with bean bags and loungers, ideal for soaking up the sun between dives or enjoying the sea breeze.
About
The Teman liveaboard has been sailing across Indonesia for 20 years experience sailing across Indonesia and has a crew of 10, not counting the Cruise Director. The Teman is made of wood and takes divers on trips to Komodo and Raja Ampat, depending on the season. As an adventure cruise, the Teman visits the Banda Sea, Triton Bay, Sulawesi, and Halmahera. The Raja Ampat itineraries visit locations like Misool, Pianemo & Penemu, the Wayag Archipelago, Wofoh Island, The Dampier Strait, and Gam's Jungle. The Komodo itineraries take guests to sites like Batu Bolong, Makassar Reef, Golden Passage, Castel Rock, and many others.
