Design Details

The richest underwater ecosystems are built on coexistence, where colour, behaviour, and species diversity create balance beneath the surface. The photograph used on this mug was captured by Rohit Gupta at Malpelo Island, capturing a Leather Bass and Hog Fish sharing the reef in a moment of quiet complexity. Two fish. One frame. Thousands of stories beneath it.

Magic Mug FAQs

The outer ceramic is coated with a heat-sensitive material that responds to temperature. Cold, the mug appears black. When hot liquid is added — above approximately 60°C — the coating becomes transparent and the ocean image is revealed. The reveal is fully reversible: the mug returns to black as it cools.
